Ms. Vieira-Charron brings an extensive and versatile background in clinical, operational and administrative experience to her role as Medical Program Manager. Her past experience is essential in her responsibilities of medical cost containment and addressing the medical needs of clients. 

Ms. Vieira-Charron began her career in workers' compensation claims with Crawford and Company, holding the position of Medical Services Consultant. This position allowed her to become well versed in the medical, vocational and legal aspects of the workers' compensation industry. 

Prior to Crawford and Company, Ms. Vieira-Charron was employed with Gateway HomeCare, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. While at Gateway, she held the positions of: Quality Assurance, MIS Nurse Educator and Director of Education. As Director of Education, her accomplishments included the development and implementation of clinical and administrative policies and procedures in compliance with State, Federal, and JCAHO standards; the design and maintenance of standardized orientation and training manuals; and the development of specialized programs that were designed to meet the needs of clients and physicians. She was instrumental in the development of the Corporate Compliance and Continuous Quality Improvement programs, which involved protocols to track, trend and benchmark data. 

Ms. Vieira-Charron also has experience in the areas of Internal Medicine, Medical-Surgical, Mental Health, Maternal Child, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Correctional Nursing and Home Health Care. She holds a degree in Nursing from Sanford Brown College, St. Charles, Missouri. She is licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in both Illinois and Missouri.
